John A. Karpinski, Esq.
John Karpinski is a founding member of the firm. He is an Auburn native. He joined his father, John J. Karpinski, and his brother-in-law, T. David Stapleton, in 1970. Prior to that he was a VISTA volunteer in Detroit, MI and served as counsel to New York State Assemblyman L.S. Riford, Jr. His areas of practice include Elder Law, Estate Planning and Administration, Real Estate, and Small Business counseling.
His professional memberships include the American Bar Association and its Section on Real Property, Probate and Trust Law and its Section on Taxation. He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association and its Section on Trust and Estates and its Section on Elder Law.
His wife, Nancy, is Director of Career Services at Wells College, and they have four grown children: Elizabeth, Amy, Peter, and Sarah.
