Any organization, regardless of its focus, is only as good and dependable as the people who staff it. We, at Karpinski, Stapleton, Galbato, & Tehan, are enormously proud of the quality of our people. They reflect our highest standards of service and integrity professionally, and also are class individuals personally. We are pleased to present our Staff... Betty is an integral part of the foundation of this law office and has been a member of its staff for over thirty years. She is the senior Real Estate paralegal and is responsible for the oversight of all aspects of real property transactions flowing through the office. Betty also has overall office management responsibilities. Linda is a Real Estate paralegal, who has responsibility for serving mortage lenders and underwriting title insurance policies. She has been with our office for over thirteen years and her time is completely dedicated to the practice of real estate. Lorraine is our Estate and Medicaid Planning paralegal, who has been with the office for over twelve years. She has worked in central New York law offices for over twenty years. Lorraine has exclusive responsibility for the drafting of wills, trusts, powers of attorney and health care proxies, and the filing of gift tax returns arising out of these transactions. Susan is our Estate Administration paralegal and has been with our office for over eight years. Sue is responsible for all aspects of Estate Administration including the drafting of Surrogate's Court pleadings, estate tax returns and overall administration of estates. Jill is our Litigation paralegal and has responsibility for the coordination of all aspects of our litigation department. She has been with our office for over six years and is also in charge of our office information technology. Karen M. is a fully dedicated Real Estate paralegal who has over seven years of experience in the legal aspects of real estate transactions. Her primary responsibilities are in the areas of assisting clients in the sale and purchase of real property. Karen has received her paralegal degree from Bryant and Stratton. Karen G. is our office comptroller in addition to working in our Estate Administration Department. She has been with our office for over five years. Helen is our Receptionist and is responsible for handling our telephones, client appointments, file and calendar maintenance, law library and various other areas essential to smooth operation of the office on a day-to-day basis. Helen has over twenty years of law office experience. Amy is our Medicaid paralegal and has, as her primary responsibility, the preparation, coordination and presentation of all Medicaid applications. In addition, Amy assists in the formation of corporations and limited liability companies for small businesses. Don Brandstetter has been with us for over ten years and is our private investigator. Don retired from the New York State Police, as a Criminal Investigator and joined our firm in a part-time capacity. He also has the responsibility of acting as closing agent for transactions involving mortage lending. Steve Caruana is another of our capable closing agents handling transactions involving mortgage lending. He joined us after a career at Cayuga Bank. |
